Hello! My name is Johna R. Bradley, and I have been taking professional portraits for 10 years. I started my business in May 2008, although I have had a camera in hand since I was 12. My love for photography led me to attend the College of DuPage in 1994 for film photography and in 2008 for digital photography. I have also been a volunteer firefighter since 1996 and have been able to merge these two passions when I became a fire department photographer for 3 years ago.
Throughout the years, I have received several awards for my dedication to photography. Most notably, I received an award in June 2010 from Lyons Township for outstanding community service for volunteering and participating in the Littlest Heroes Project. In December 2016, I received an award from the Kankakee Township Fire Protection District for outstanding photography work and dedication in the fire service. In addition, I was honored when, in March 2016 and 2018, I received awards for outstanding performance of photography duties and dedication to the Dwight Fire Protection District.
My passion for the art of photography has allowed me to broaden the focus of my craft. In addition to my fire department portraits, fire trainings, and on-scene photographs, I also love to photograph engagements, weddings, children, high school Seniors, and families. I specialize in beautifully edited and lasting, meaningful photographs.
I am from Herscher, IL, but I am available worldwide and love to travel.
I have a knack at capturing natural photos that reflect your personality. You help to decide the best location, and I will help guide you as to the best time. I am very patient with children and adults alike. I never make you feel rushed and will make the session as calm as I can. One thing you will notice is that I will blend in with the family to the point in which you will forget that I am the photographer.
If you would like to learn more about my photography style, then please drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can meet for coffee.
